Hi, I’m Valentin!
I’m a character designer and comic artist from Paris, and I’ve been drawing ever since I can remember. Art quickly became my way of seeing and expressing the world — a tool for creativity, storytelling, and connection.
Though I started at Art University, I soon realized that learning doesn’t have to happen in a classroom. I taught myself through books, cartoons, and constant sketching, which led me to work as a freelance artist, character designer, and comic creator.
In this course, we’ll explore how to bring characters to life — from shapes, silhouettes, and anatomy to personality, storytelling, and style. You’ll learn to create characters that feel alive, and by the end, you’ll have the skills and confidence to develop your own unique designs.
